CHALLENGE
-Time Zones & Remote Collaboration –

DESIGN APPROACH
I was tasked with redesigning the following key pages and sections:
GOALS
Design a website that reflects the warmth, legacy, and professionalism of the Sakarettes
Simplify user flows for registration, contact, and content discovery
Create a visually appealing, mobile-responsive, and accessible site
WIREFRAMES & USER FLOWS
Built low-fidelity wireframes to define structure and navigation
Mapped user flows for:
New member registration
Searching site content
Viewing galleries by chapter
Accessing annual reports and leadership info
VISUAL DESIGN
Adopted a clean, elegant design language aligned with the Sakarettes’ brand
Used warm color palettes, familiar typography, and archival photos for authenticity
Ensured mobile responsiveness across breakpoints
OUTCOME

- Positive client feedback on structure, aesthetic, and improved usability
- The site is now a better reflection of the Sakarettes’ mission, legacy, and vibrant community
REFLECTION
This project honed my skills in stakeholder communication, collaborative design under time constraints, and designing with purpose for a cause-driven organization. I’m proud of the inclusive, informative, and modern platform we created.
